I have always stressed, to hitters,
the importance of "hit the ball hard somewhere!". If you do,
good things will happen. I undertook a study of high level College, professional,
and Olympic games, to find out what the actual percentages are. How much
better is it to hit the ball hard somewhere? Just exactly how successful
should you expect to be, if you hit ground balls, line drives, fly balls?.
